Welcome to Stitch-N-Thyme Farms!

Located in the Foothills of the Sierra Nevada of California.  About 60 minutes east of Sacramento, we are located in between the towns of Jackson and Ione. We are passionate about breeding quality mid-sized dairy goats for both the rural homestead and urban home.

Activities

Breeding for 2024 Kidding season
​For the last several years we have breed between 20-30 does for spring kidding. In 2023, we bred 12. With our son off to college, we are cutting back even more. We are in need of a break, and will only be breeding a few does to evaluate  udders, to have a few to take to shows, and to have milk for cheese. 

It is important to rest when tired... we have watched many goat breeders not rest, and this results in them getting out of the business altogether.

We are not sure if we will host a show in 2024... I think we need a bit of time to adjust to being without the help of our son to see how much extra energy we have.  We will make the decision by the end of the year.
